Now I'm in Birmingham AL

It's been a fast and furious week. I started the week at home, in the office in Kansas City. Monday afternoon I flew to Austin TX and had a great dinner with my clients. Tuesday morning we had a meeting that went fairly well and I spent the rest of the day in the airport. I can honestly say that is not my ideal way of spending 10 hours, sitting in the Austin airport. It was a looooong day. I got home sometime around midnight.

Today I went into the office once again, and then this afternoon I flew to Birmingham. Thankfully there were no travel issues, so it was a much better day with Southwest Airlines. Now I am sitting in my hotel room, attempting to finish my blog assignment for work.

The last step for me is to put a link to one of my co-workers blogs. Amy, who recently moved out to California, started a blog to keep us all in the loop with their new life in sunny CA. Read more at http://therosesandzoey.blogspot.com/

Peace out.

Sitting in the Austin airport

What else can I do to entertain myself today, as I am sitting for hours and hours in the Austin airport? Well, I can fulfill my blogging assignment of course!

I was just looking at a celeb gossip blog, the one I am following for two weeks as part of our assignment. I posted a comment on a blog about Britney - you can find it here http://www.celebrityrumors.com/britney-spears/britneys-bodyguard-keeps-talking.html#comments

I am so fortunate that I wound up with the first round draft pick and went with the ever-reliable, headline-making Britney Spears as my first choice. That girl is a total mess and I am kicking everyone's butts at the gossip league because of it!

Here it goes

We are tasked with the assignment at Barkley to learn more about the digital world. To this point, I have established both a LinkedIn account as well as a Facebook account. Although I was already on MySpace, this was not one of the assigments on our list. LinkedIn has been interesting, I have come across some old colleagues I haven't spoken to in some time. Facebook has some really cool picture features, the way you share photos is better than MySpace. However, since I already have my life posted on MySpace...I'm not going too far with Facebook. I just want to cover all my bases for the Barkley assignment.

So, here goes my blog. Assignment #2. Nothing personal, just covering my bases :)
